Barbara Burdick (Co-Owner)
Barb is a driven person who feels like her purpose in life is to work with children. As a young child her love was
gymnastics, she started gymnastics at age 10, at the age of 14 won a JO national title. She loved being on her
high school team and finished out her gymnastics career at the U of M. After enjoying gymnastics for so many
years she wanted nothing more than to share that love with children. Barb says, " I have the best job anyone
can ask for, being with children and sharing my passion with them. I am blessed to be able to do this."
Mandi McMann (Co Owner)
The gym has always been like a 2nd home to me. I grew up here in MN, with my mom owning a gym and also
was one of my coaches. I was a JO level 10 for 5 years before receiving a gymnastics scholarship to the
University of Alaska Anchorage. In my 4 years there I earned academic awards every year, and in my senior
year earned USAG All-American honors in the All-Around. I received a bachelors degree in Journalism
and public communications, with an emphasis in photography. I met my husband in college, after we got married,
we moved to Alberta, Canada in 2008 and lived there for 11 years. There, I spent 9 years as the head coach of the
competitive gymnastics team and recreational program. In 2019 I made my way back to MN to be a part of the
NBGC family. I am very passionate about my love of gymnastics and the endless list of positive benefits it can
bring to any child. I look forward to many more years of coaching!
